Ivana Armanini je zagrebačka strip-autorica i osnivačica Komikaza (2002. – danas, udruga od 2008.), međunarodne platforme za nezavisni strip i uličnu umjetnost koja okuplja više od 400 autora iz 70 zemalja. Diplomirala je na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu. Komikaze su 2020. godine primile Nagradu za najbolji alternativni strip na Međunarodnom festivalu stripa u Angoulêmeu, pri čemu je žiri pohvalio projekt kao „jedan od najboljih primjera uredničkog eksperimentiranja… oštar izbor globalnog underground stripa, posebno iz istočne Europe.” Album Love Resist Etc okuplja sedam godina njezinog punkerskog, politički angažiranog stripovskog rada.
Naslov namjerno odbacuje svu interpunkciju — Love Resist Etc — i funkcionira kao manifest: jednostavan, neprekinut ritam istovremeno služi kao sirovi izraz autorske slobode, spajajući duboke ljudske impulse (ljubav), politički angažman (otpor) i iscrpljenost ponavljajućim obrascima sustava (itd.). Djelo se kreće između figuracije i čiste apstrakcije, a slovenski časopis LUD Literatura pohvalio ga je zbog punkerske hrabrosti. Ministarstvo kulture i medija RH otkupilo je album za narodne knjižnice diljem zemlje.

Ivana Armanini is a Zagreb-based comic artist and founder of Komikaze (2002–present, an NGO since 2008), an international platform for independent comics and street art with over 400 creators from 70 countries. She holds a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts, Zagreb. In 2020, Komikaze received the Alternative Comics Award at the Angoulême International Comics Festival, with the jury praising it as “one of the best examples of editorial experimentation… a sharp selection of global underground comics, especially from Eastern Europe.”
Love, Resist Etc collects seven years of her punkish, politically engaged comics work.
The title deliberately drops all punctuation — Love, Resist Etc — functioning as a manifesto: the plain, unbroken rhythm doubles as a raw expression of authorial freedom, blending deep human impulses (love), political engagement (resistance) and exhaustion with the system’s repeating patterns (etc.). The work shifts between figuration and pure abstraction, praised by Slovenian magazine LUD Literatura for its punk courage. Acquired by Croatia’s Ministry of Culture for public libraries nationwide.

Strip autorica i ilustratorica. Njezin rad je neodvojiv od aktivizma i društvenog konteksta. Završila je  Školu za Primjenjenu umjetnost i dizajn i Akademiju Likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu (Mag. Art; Rektorova nagrada). Član je Hrvatske zajednice samostalnih umjetnika. Imala je 9
samostalnih izložbi i 9 solo strip izdanja (albumi, fanzini, art books, mikroizdanja): Pustolovine Glorije Scott, 2005. (po pričama Mime Simić); Katalog, 2016.; FMCX, 2017.; Mangelos Vol. 1, (scenarij: Marko Golub); Blue concertina, 2018.; She must be mad, 2018.; Nini zine, 2019.;

Comic artist and illustrator. Her work and activities can not be divided from activism and social awareness. She graduated from the School of Applied Art and Design and the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (Mag. Art; Rector’s Award). She is a member of the Croatian Association of Independent Artists. She had 9 solo exhibitions and 9 solo comic publications (albums, fanzines, art books, micro-editions): Adventures of Gloria Scott, 2005 (based on stories by Mima Simić); Catalogue, 2016; FMCX, 2017; Mangelos Vol. 1, 2017 (script: Marko Golub); Blue concertina, 2018; She must be mad, 2018; Nini zine, 2019; Alice in Waterland, 2020; BOTS, 2021; Zero Zine, 2022.
In 2002, she launched and runs KOMIKAZE, a network for the production, promotion and distribution of author comics, with a special focus on female authors through the FEMICOMIX line, within which he publishes over a hundred collaborative issues and exhibits at about three hundred events (exhibitions, festivals) locally and internationally (Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Italy, France, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Romania, Poland, Portugal, Portland, New York). Komikaze 2020 receives the award for Alternative Comics at the largest European comics festival in Angouleme, France.
