the theme of the workshop organized by the komikaze team alongside the femicomix 2020 exhibition is “street girls”, the female characters we meet on city streets – the protester, the graffiti artist, the skater, the homeless person, the squatter…
the resulting works are published in the form of a zine composed by komikaze author ena jurov. all selected authors will receive 2 zines and a badge with theirs drawing (or part of the drawing). print run is 50 pieces. zine is published on the komikaze website and included in the zine libraries of the https://komikaze.hr/stripoteka-library/ & dobravaga gallery.

passerby 1: ‘get up miša!’ // miša: ‘i won’t’ (continues laying on the street)— passerby 1: ‘if you don’t get up i will make you!’ // miša: ‘you won’t!’— passerby 1: ‘you are forever rolling here on the street and bothering us as we pass!’ // miša: ‘i am bothering you and will bother you!’— passerby 2: ‘call the police!’
a policeman arrives: ‘what is happening here?’ // passerby 1: ‘this citizen here is laying on the floor and bothering us.’ // passerby 2: ‘we asked her to move and she won’t’— policeman: ‘why are you, citizen, laying here?’ // miša: ‘i’m resting’— policeman: ‘not good. where do you live? where is your room?’ // miša: ‘here’— passerby 1: ‘she doesn’t even have a bed! she’s rolling publicly on the bare floor!’ // passerby 2: ‘she also lays here at night. everyone is stumbling over her in the dark.
passerby 1: ‘we wanted to burn her with petroleum. and nothing!’ // passerby 2: ‘we just poured it on her!’— policeman: ‘why is this citizen laying here?’ // passerby 1: ‘she probably doesn’t have anywhere else to lay’— policeman: ‘that is not good.’ (and leaves) // passerby 1: ‘get up! did you hear what the policeman said?’— miša: ‘i won’t.’ // passerby 2: ‘there you go! now she will lay here on purpose!’ // passerby 1: ‘i don’t doubt it!’ // passerby 1: ‘perfetamente!’
