Drugi Most: another bridge to the Balkans
The association Drugi Most was founded in 1996 in sympathy with the populations in the former Yugoslavian federation. Its initial purpose were facing up to nationalisms and informing about the crimes against humanity, which devastated the country. Drugi Most offers civic and socio-cultural alternatives to the problems which remain since the end of the armed conflict. Acting as a coordinating body that also sets up and manages its own projects, Drugi Most aims at: supporting the civil society in ex-Yugoslavia; developing intercultural exchanges and informing and heightening public awarenes in France. Drugi Most keeps on promoting the festival “Du Monde aux Balkans” by building up closer collaboration with its partners from here and there.
